Earthquake strikes Christchurch, yet to do list when nature disaster hits you

Major earthquake, which is 6.3 magnitude just strikesChristchurch, one of the most beautiful city in New Zealand. Sad news, yet we must take into actions of certain things that need to highlighted in case this unwanted disaster strike our land. Key flew to Christchurch this afternoon and after a quick tour of the city described it as "utterly wrecked", adding "this is an absolute tragedy for Christchurch".

107 Pilot Whales Dead on New Zealand Beach

STEWART ISLAND, NEW ZEALAND— More than a hundred whales have died on a remote New Zealand Island.

All members of a pod of 107 pilot whales died after they were stranded on the beach near Cavalier Creek on Stewart Island off of the southern tip of New Zealand's South Island. Officials had to euthanize 48of the 107 whales.

The whales were found by hikers on Sunday.
